I can hardly control myself...

Ya'll are gonna flip!

By the way... I recently had the opportunity to view this Ink Artist blog using Firefox on a Mac. I was shocked to see that my right-hand sidebar looks funky in Firefox.

If anyone is viewing this with Firefox, does the right-hand column look funky to you?

It seems to look fine in all other browsers... just wondering.

It's done!

It is going to be so hard waiting all day tomorrow until I make this public at midnight.

Hang onto your hats... rev... rev... rev...

(That is a clue)

I'm putting the finishing touches on it!!!

Yep... it's almost ready!

(Aren't I a tease?) This is fun.

And unless Michele Tisler goes to the admin area of the Splitcoastbloggers site tonight, I don't think she knows... so don't think you can get the secret by emailing her.

Focus on Sell-A-Bration produces results

Getting ready for Sell-A-Bration at my house involves focusing myself to get samples done.

This pig in the SU stamp set "Very Punny" was the first Sell-A-Bration image I fell in love with this year (and I'm not a big fan of pigs, per se). He's really cute and he needed to be showcased in watercolors and glitter.

A fresh new way of using the Hodgepodge Hardware is by hanging the brad from the pointed photo hanger. The brad holds 3 Word Window punched pieces with greetings. For a larger version go here

Can you believe I didn't use the Stamp-a-ma-jig tool to line up the borders in the "All in a Row" stamp set here? No, indeed. I was too lazy to get out of my chair and get the Stamp-a-ma-jig, so I inked up the stamp, said a prayer and pressed... perfect placement the first time. Was it serendipity? good luck? lots of practice? I dunno... but what can I say. Some things are just meant to turn out well the first time! This set also features an image from "Very Punny" For a larger version go here

When designing this sample for upcoming workshops, I was at a loss as to what to use as a background. Then I realized that the bubbles with the fish look similar to the background stamp in the "Beyond the Basics" stamp set that I haven't touched in ages. A little bit of heated Winter White embossing powder and ink in Brilliant Blue, Taken with Teal and Green Galore dusted over it with a cotton ball and I created a fishy scene in a matter of minutes! For a larger version go here

These are just three of the samples I made last week. For more samples, check out my Stampin' Up! website gallery here! There are all new projects posted in anticipation for the new year!

So what else can be done with Hodgepodge Hardware?

Make a hand watercolored necklace? SURE!

Last year I posted a Hodgepodge Necklace in the Splitcoaststampers "Embellishable You" Dirty Dozen gallery here (You need to be a paid fan club member to view). I've decided to make a few more as gifts and to wear myself. Here is one of them:

The set used on this one happens to be a retired set from last year called "Simple Florals". I didn't make any with current sets yet. Don't you think I ought to get busy?

Bridesmaids Luncheon Notebook Tin Class

A few days back I said I'd post links to the Notebook Tin that was featured at a bridesmaids luncheon I was hired to do.

Here the are:
Outside of Notebook Tin
Inside of Notebook Tin

This was a pretty basic project for beginners, so I used the Friends and Flowers Scrappin' Kit so that the guests who've never stamped before could decorate with the Self-adhesive Diecuts.

I made the TOP 10 list! I made the list!

Stamper Gina Krupsky posted here a list of "The Top 10 Most Exciting Stamp Related Products of 2006" and I was reading through them when I came upon the Number 2 Most Exciting Item AND IT'S MY WEBSITE AT Splitcoastbloggers!

I'm just amazed at its popularity! and that it is NUMBER 2 on the top 10!

(I have to update it tonight, actually! There are a few more I have to add!)

Thanks to Michele Tisler for being so helpful adding blogs when it became too much work for me to handle alone!

Wowzers! Cool beans! Thanks GinaK!

I got a Cricut!!!!!

My DH is sooooo sneaky!

I'm here at my in-laws house opening gifts right now and I just opened a surprise gift from my DH! He bought me a cricut!!!!! I'm seriously jumping up and down! I can't believe it! He had it ordered online and delivered to his in-laws house so I wouldn't see it arrive at our house!

I better go back to the party... just wanted to share!

Extra Extra... Jan Tink collapses after cutting 40 paper flowers

Today we fear the worst... one of stamping's greatest artists has met an unfortunate fate as she collapses from swapitis. Read the frightening story here.

Private Party a Success (and no one collapsed from cutting out flowers)

Today I did a private party for a lovely bride-to-be and her bridesmaids. Everyone had a really great time. We made Notebook Tins. I'm planning on uploading photos tomorrow when I am waiting for people to show up at my house for the Last Minute Lucy Open House and Sale.

The Notebook Tins we made at the private party were covered in paper flowers that were punched and we used some Stampin' Up! self adhesive dicuts... so no one collapsed from cutting flowers here, thankfully. If anything would have happened with her bridesmaids collapsing from cutting flowers I would have been sued.

Stop back...

Notebook Tins for Christmas

This year I've decided to give notebook tins for Christmas. If you remember a few months ago I posted a notebook tin I received at Convention and then took a large order for the tins.

I don't have the time to post each different tin I've made, but here is one of them I've made. The great thing about these cool tins is that you only need 1 sheet of Designer Series paper (along with other cardstock) to make these. I was able to get quite a few of these made from only one package of Designer Series paper.

Here it is! Thanks Michele Boyer!!!!!

Treated like royalty is what I am! OMG! Michele made fantastic choices when she slipped buckle sliders, charms and a mini book into my tote!

Michele Boyer gave me a tote, matching card and she included a 7 gypsies mini Wire-O Album, Buckle sliders and Aladdin's Charms by imaginisce!

I love East Indian designs, and both the Aladdin's charms and the buckle sliders she choose are in the "Exotic East Collection".

For a larger photo go here!

Michele! Thank you so much from the bottom of my heart! I LOVE everything!

Blogger's Valentine Swap

I signed up for an SCS Bloggers Valentine swap that should be fun. I can't even begin to think about Valentine's Day though in the midst of Christmas preparations.

I need to finish and mail a Dirty Dozen Gift Swap item and finish a few other hand stamped Christmas gifts first.

Christmas Craziness

Will I be able to upload some pics here tomorrow???? Maybe??? All I know is that I have wrapping paper and Christmas cards all over the dining room table, three foster kittens tearing around in our upstairs bedroom, stuff that needs to be mailed, carpets that still need to be cleaned, laundry that needs to be done, customers to follow up with, and a blog consulting customer phone call to prepare for.

I spent the day delivering Stampin' Up! orders and wrapping Christmas gifts for my downlines. I also delivered a Special Order someone had me make and tomorrow I'm making another Special Order hand stamped item that has to be mailed to the customer by Friday.

Then I need to get ready for my Crafter's Open House this weekend and visit a bride who has an event scheduled with me this weekend when my husband is doing my Crafter's Open House.

I still have some more Stampin' Up! orders coming in before Christmas and next week I'll be busy delivering to customers and following up with hostesses who I had the orders sent directly.

Then I need to finish addressing and mailing my Christmas cards.

I'm so glad I have an assistant coming to do some workshop preparations for me on Wednesday. She will be stuffing hostess envelopes and cutting paper.

Mitten Sighting!

Recently I was reading blogs and found the blog by Stampin' Up! demonstrator Joelle Bridges. I enjoy looking at all the projects posted on blogs so I scrolled down to view hers.

Much to my surprise, I spyed my mitten with Frosty on it here!. Her upline used my cool mitten template that I posted at Splitcoaststampers last year to make a card for her downline! How cool is that??!! What a fun surprise to see someone else appreciates my template enough to use it for a downline gift! I'm tickled!!!! (giggle!)

My fuzzy mitten card from last year

Template is in the fan club forum here

Waaayyyy cool!
